Larissa is a complete gem! She helped my son go from no words to fully age appropriate with language. Each visit was so fun for him and completely play based, he always looked forward to seeing Larissa. And honestly, so did I! She’s a wonderful, cheerful, and extremely skilled speech therapist!

When my son was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, I felt alone in, and unsure of, the path ahead of us. At least that was until we met Larissa. She developed an instant friendship with my (shy) son and made us both feel very comfortable about his speech plan. He was missing multiple sounds, and it has been so amazing to watch him master each one in his own timing. Larissa is great at explaining the science behind speech development while keeping it fun and engaging. She is very patient and reassuring with both the kiddos and their parents. And since speech development requires practice and repetition, her at-home exercises help keep the momentum going outside of the clinic.

My son, who has Down syndrome and ASD, has been working with Larissa for almost two years. Through her stellar care and guidance, we’ve seen tremendous progress and refinement in his speech and communication skills. She always makes it fun for him to practice and attempt new things!! Larissa has been such a genuinely positive role model for me and my son. We are deeply grateful for everything she has done. She truly loves her job, and is always super sweet, caring, understanding, and very knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond for the families she works with. I highly recommend Express Yourself Speech Therapy.

Our family loves Larissa! Both of our boys have been doing weekly sessions with her for several years now. She is a wonderful speech therapist who is very accommodating to any special needs. As parents, we are always amazed at the positive energy and enthusiasm she brings to each session. Our kids enjoy how she is always fun and makes sessions relevant to their interests. Highly recommended!

My son saw Larissa for Speech Therapy. He was having trouble with his "R's". He has since graduated and is doing great! Larissa was so patient with him, and gave such good tips on what to do with his mouth to make the correct sound. He always had fun and really looked forward to his sessions. He and I were both a little sad that he learned his "R's" fairly quickly after seeing Larissa.

Our 3 boys have made amazing progress with Larissa. Each of them has their own unique challenges, and fall on different areas of the spectrum – but as therapy goes, the one thing they seem to have in common is that they are absolutely THRILLED to see her, every time! She educated herself on their restricted interests, and is always coming up with creative ideas on how to incorporate them into their sessions. She was the first therapist who saw the value in obtaining a speech-generating device for our non-speaking son – and for our verbal boys, has helped them to navigate those complex back-and-forth interactions that are so important to making friends. I appreciate how she balances play-based therapy with consideration of real-world scenarios, taking their triggers and sensitivities into account. When faced with challenging behaviors, which can sometimes be alarming to others, Larissa has always responded with compassion and understanding, never giving up on her efforts to bring a smile to their face. Neuro-affirming and an expert in her field, we are so grateful to have found her – our boys have made a friend for life!
